โจ โPause & Reflect โ Young People, Media, and the Fear of Missing Outโ has officially started, and for our team from Pathfinders of Athens, this moment feels both exciting and deeply meaningful after months of preparation, coordination, discussions, and anticipation.
Sometimes the most important journeys do not begin with travelling to another country, they begin with honest conversations, shared ideas, and the courage to slow down in a world that constantly tells young people to keep scrolling.
Seeing young people from different countries openly discuss digital pressure, social media habits, comparison, and emotional wellbeing already feels incredibly valuable. From the very first days, the project atmosphere has been filled with positive energy, creativity, vulnerability, intercultural connection, and many small moments that remind us how important real human interaction still is.
Our Greek participants are actively engaging in discussions, reflections, creative workshops, teamwork, and intercultural activities while also bringing their own perspectives, experiences, humour, and culture into the group. Watching these connections grow naturally day by day is exactly what makes projects like this so meaningful.
And honestly, this feels like only the beginning of something much bigger than a single project week. ๐
We are excited to continue this journey together and we will keep sharing more beautiful moments, reflections, and experiences from the next days very soon. โจ
