Our organization's main purpose is the foundation, operation and promotion of the "Digital School of the Greek Diaspora", which is a digital 6-grade Greek Primary School that will be addressed to the children of the Greek community in order to preserve their Greek identity, through learning the language, history and culture of Greece. The Birthplace of the Olympic Spirit
More than 2,700 years ago, in the sacred sanctuary of Olympia, Greece, a tradition was born that would inspire generations across the globe.
The Ancient Olympic Games, first recorded in 776 BC, were held every four years in honor of Zeus, bringing together athletes from the Greek city-states in a celebration of excellence, discipline, and respect. During the Games, a sacred truce (Ekecheiria) allowed competitors and spectators to travel safely, demonstrating that peace and unity could prevail even in times of conflict.
Victors were crowned not with gold, but with olive wreaths—symbols of honor, virtue, and achievement.

According to legend, a Greek messenger named Pheidippides ran from the town of Marathon to Athens after the Greek victory over the Persians in 490 BC. His mission was simple but vital: deliver the message, "We have won!" After completing the exhausting journey, he collapsed and died.

Inspired by this legendary feat, the modern marathon was introduced at the first Olympic Games of the modern era in Athens in 1896. The race commemorated the courage, endurance, and determination of those who shaped history.

Today, every marathon runner carries a piece of that legacy with them—pushing beyond limits, embracing challenges, and proving that the human spirit is capable of extraordinary things.
