Την Τετάρτη 1η Ιουλίου πραγματοποιήθηκε η Τακτική Γενική Συνέλευση του Ινστιτούτου Εναλίων Αρχαιολογικών Ερευνών (Ι.ΕΝ.Α.Ε.) στην αίθουσα του Συλλόγου Νισυρίων Αθηνών «Γνωμαγόρας», στο Σπίτι της Νισύρου.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνέλευσης παρουσιάστηκε ο απολογισμός του έργου του Ινστιτούτου για τα έτη 2024–2025, καθώς και οι σημαντικές ερευνητικές δράσεις που υλοποιήθηκαν στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού έργου BCThubs – Blue Culture Technology Excellence Hubs in EU Widening Member States, το οποίο χρηματοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή μέσω του προγράμματος Horizon Europe (HORIZON-WIDERA-2022-ACCESS-04-01).
Στη συνέχεια πραγματοποιήθηκαν οι αρχαιρεσίες για την ανάδειξη της νέας διοίκησης του Ι.ΕΝ.Α.Ε. και στη συνέχεια το νέο Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο συγκροτήθηκε σε σώμα ως εξής:

🌊 BCThubs was presented at the International Conference “Changing Cities VII”, held in Spetses, Greece, through the presentation “Underwater Cultural Heritage to Drive Smart Specialisation Strategies: Lessons Learnt from Bulgaria, Greece & Malta”.

The presentation was delivered by Nektaria Marava and Stella Kyvelou on behalf of the Hellenic Institute of Marine Archaeology (IENAE - HIMA), partner of the BCThubs project, as part of the special session “Policies for European Islands”.

The contribution highlighted how Underwater Cultural Heritage can be understood also as a potential driver for regional innovation, blue economy development and smart specialisation strategies.

Στα νερά της Αργολίδας εντοπίστηκε βυθισμένο ένα πλοίο, που έφερε στο φως στοιχεία για το θαλάσσιο εμπόριο στο προϊστορικό Αιγαίο. Ο ναυτικός αρχαιολόγος Χρήστος Αγουρίδης μιλά για την ανακάλυψη, τη μελέτη και την ερμηνεία των ευρημάτων.

Ο Χρήστος Αγουρίδης, Αντιπρόεδρος του Ι.ΕΝ.Α.Ε. και διευθυντής της έρευνας στον Αργολικό κόλπο, μιλάει για την ανασκαφή του ναυαγίου στη βραχονησίδα Μόδι.

Λίγα μίλια από τον Πόρο, η μικρή βραχονησίδα Μόδι έκρυβε για τρεις χιλιάδες χρόνια ένα από τα σημαντικότερα μυκηναϊκά ναυάγια του Αιγαίου. Ο ειδικός στη Ναυτική Αρχαιολογία Χρήστος Αγουρίδης «βουτά» στην ιστορία μιας ανακάλυψης που ίσως αλλάξει όσα γνωρίζαμε για το τέλος της μυκηναϊκής εποχής.
