has just launched a significant study exploring the connection between climate activism, employment opportunities, and youth migration trends in the Western Balkans — and we’re helping spread the word.

🎯 What is the study about?
The research aims to understand how strengthening environmental governance and creating green economic opportunities can provide real incentives for young people to stay, work, and thrive in their home countries.

📊 Who can participate?
Young people aged 18–30 who live in or are part of the diaspora from: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia

⏳ Time required: 5–7 minutes
🔐 Privacy: 100% anonymous and fully GDPR-compliant

The findings will help shape policy recommendations for national governments and EU institutions, with a focus on green jobs and youth retention in the region.

If you’re eligible — or know someone who is — we encourage you to take part and share the questionnaire within your networks.

Let’s amplify youth voices and support a greener, more sustainable future for the Western Balkans. 🌱

For the fourth year in a row, we are honored to join the Connected We Stand Festival in Thessaloniki, celebrating the spirit of volunteerism 💙

We began working on back in 2021 as an informal group of young people. This July, the project concluded in Skopje — our last event under the C4CF banner, but far from the end. ✨

Now operating as an NGO — still working on it alongside our regular jobs — we continue with the same goals: sustainable youth cooperation and stronger bilateral relations.

Over the past few years, the initiative has engaged over 10,000 young people, connected 680 stakeholders, and reached more than 560,000 people through 579 events, activities, and media efforts.

We’re grateful to all our partners — now friends — and everyone who has been part of the journey. On to what’s next ✨

We had the pleasure of being invited to the National Student Forum 2.0, organized by .mk in Skopje on May 9th and 10th. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with young people from organizations across North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, and Serbia, as well as with students living in North Macedonia.

The weekend was filled with workshops, plenary sessions, and meaningful discussions. Our General Coordinator, Anna Bampili, was honored to speak during a plenary session on the power and challenges of student activism in a regional context. She shared insights about the Greek student movement, recent protests in our country, and highlighted impactful initiatives from across the region.

We sincerely thank FECH and everyone involved for the warm hospitality and the excellent organization that made this forum a success!
