Yesterday, 11 athletes ran in support of Aid Pioneers! The goes along the historic route from the city of Marathon to Athens and is considered one of the hardest existing marathons. Of course, this did not stop our team from completing the 42.1km and collectively raising close to 20.000€ in support of Aid Pioneers’s projects!

Teamwork in action! 📦 Michael Pusic and Siona Sharma recently traveled to Portland to meet with our new partner, Partners for World Health (PWH). Together, they’ve prepared a critical shipment of over $250K in medical supplies destined for Tripoli, Lebanon.

🏥 These supplies will enhance the services of ophthalmology and neonatal units run by local visionaries at the Al Manhaj Association. Bouchra Hejazi, the association’s Executive Manager shares, ”The donated supplies mean we can offer our patients immediate assistance at no cost... This container will absolutely increase the number of patients we can treat.”

🔗 By connecting local visionaries with global supporters like PWH, Aid Pioneers supercharges on-the-ground initiatives with the power to transform vulnerable communities from within – and for good.

In Lebanon, the public electricity grid provides only two hours of energy daily, leaving people reliant on increasingly expensive diesel generators.

Al Manhaj’s Ability Center runs on a limited budget, and the increasing cost of diesel threatens its ability to remain open, leaving the children and families under its care without the support they need.

Want to help us win up to €12K for a solar system that would provide a hospital in Lebanon with a reliable and affordable energy source?

Running a hospital without electricity is an impossible task and the frequent power outages in Lebanon force our partner hospital (operated by .ngo ) to rely on expensive and polluting diesel generators.

Together with we want to use the prize money for a sustainable solar alternative, allowing our partner hospital to save money and provide ca 20,000 additional medical treatments per year.

We install solar systems to supercharge the impact of our local partners. 🔌

🎉 MILESTONE REACHED 🎉
In the past six months, we've been able to send €3,500,000 worth of life-saving medical supplies to Syria and Ukraine, all thanks to our generous supporters and fearless partners.

The targeted supplies have been distributed to over 70 Ukrainian and Syrian hospitals where they allow physicians and healthcare workers to save lives.

7 hours, 113 kilometres 178 donors and 24.552,90€ for Ukraine.

We are beyond grateful for all those who supported us during our half ironman and donated to the fund raiser! Within the next three months, Aid Pioneers will send a container full of medical supplies worth 400.000 - 500.000€ to Ukraine. It would not have been possible without you, you guys are amazing!
