The Archanes Project

The Archanes Project Natural homes in sunny Crete. Initiative was launched by Yorgos Ritsakis.

Archanes Project is a pioneer in Greek market, which has set the basis for the application of Greek law regarding the use of natural materials in BioArchitecture. At present, together as a group of friends and partners we disseminate the knowledge about natural building. Project includes construction of two homes by using various techniques: straw & clay, straw bricks and cob. We experiment, we learn, we share, we live it and all this in the beautiful island - Crete.
