We received a call from friends of ours in Wales and Mrs. Christina and her husband. She called Mohammed Altlooli and told him about her intention to give some things to the refugees on the island of Leros, knowing that she met our team last year and gave them buggies and toys. I called yesterday and we immediately communicated with the refugees in the camp because we have a wide relationship with them and we were able to organize a meeting between them and a Syrian family, and everything was fine. Leros' team stopped working after disagreements with security and prevented them from providing activities and aid after arriving by truck at the camp. But the team is still providing assistance to the refugees still living in Leros camp.

Here we must mention the people who provided us with the space to work inside Leros,
Director Filio kiprizoglou. These were beautiful days that the team spent in the refugee camp, and she was always receiving team members and meeting to discuss their activities, and she was also very interested in spreading the love of peace and rejecting acts that invite hate, Thank you for the amount of love you gave us in Leros, our beautiful director, and we are happy to work with you and hope you success in your work in camp management. These hard tasks will give more patience and love in your life

What distinguishes our team is that it works with all nationalities inside the camp. this is Pictures during preparation for a cleaning activity next to the camp and the message that we want to deliver is we are able to protect ourselves by protect the nature and the place we live in .

Happy times friends ..

We are thinking about returning our activities to the camp, entertaining the children, and giving them some culture in light of the stone announced by Greece inside it. We hope the police understand the children's need for someone to keep them entertained and sensitized within the hotspot.🙏

After 7 months of working inside the hotspot , which has been awareness activities since the Corona crisis, the team carried out cleaning operations inside the camp, posted awareness posters , distributed sterilizers and cleaning tools to maintain their safety and there were also successive activities during which the team activated the children, taught them the English language, and organized meetings

They have entertainment and make them aware of life in Europe. Also, during the previous time, most of the camp residents who wanted personal needs for their children, such as diapers and milk, spoke to us, and we were with them and we provided them what they need needed.

And we went with captain Athina and we distributed food for the quarantined there, time passed and we did not feel it due to our closeness with the children, until they asked us to stand with their families and we did and we brought them special protests like clothes, soap, toothbrushes, blankets, shoes and many important things for them and we were happy with what we do during those months inside the hot zone, especially as we We gained the trust of the administration and weaved a wide relationship with the local people. We have great relations with them and they support our activities.

We also have a relationship with the Church here, and at the end of the year We passed by saying that our idea was positive, and anyone can launch their ideas in Greece and in the places of refugees in Europe. The team members also aspire to create a niche for them and their positive idea in every place they live in, and these are our main goals behind doing our activity here and pushing others to do it.

Finally, we thank everyone who stood with us here on the island which we live in , especially Stand by Me lesvos , for their great support to us since the beginning of our activity and we consider them to be our true partners, and we also thank the former police captain Athina and all the management staff inside the camp, the current police and administrators, and we also thank Echo Hub For their cooperation with us, and we wish all children a better future and achieve their noble and great goals.

We stop, not because we have too. In contrary we would love to continue. But after the fire in lesvos so many changes happened on the islands and the Greek Government kept it's announcement to bring many refugees to the mainland. So most refugees from Leros have left, very few remain and our workd is ot needed any more.

Most of us are accepted now and we want to go ahead and start a new life. But we leave and feel very sad because this was a very important time in our live.🙏

After we emptied the warehouses today and distributed some tents, and what we have left we deposited in the camp store in order to provide it to people who may arrive here at a later time, and people do not need these tents right now.

We also received a thanking letter from the camp management.🙏

Today we distributed the remaining diapers to the families in their place of residence in Al-Baqba after we gave them toys this morning, and we have been working for days to empty what we have and distribute it to finish our work here. 🙏

Dozens of young people and families will travel from Leros camp today to the capital, Athens, on an organization trip. We do not know for a moment the circumstances of that trip and we wish them success. Also, very few people stay in the camp waiting for what will happen to them, and we wish them well 🙏

Today we went to the church, lit candles, and put features in our message that we celebrate with all peoples to get rid of their crises. And our respect for all religions and their symbols. Inside the island of Leros in Greece. 🙏

Today we congratulate the Greeks on OXI Day when they defeated the Fascist army of Italy and fought for the freedom of Europe in very dark times. They were an example for everyone believing in freedom in democracy. We are living again in dark times and in the countries refugees are coming from they suffer from tyrrany and oppression. They hope to live in freedom too as Greek people did back then. So this day is not only a symbol for the Greeks but for us too.

On Saturday 10/24/2020
Seventy families attended and 161 children who lived in the refugee camp and next to it on the island of Leros benefited, and each received clothes, soap, toothbrushes, pampers, shoes, and children's honey. It was a great day of organization and commitment to the rules during the distribution in the palace area, which is an old place where a number of families live. We will return to distribute within days to complete the humanitarian assistance program for people in camp.🙏

We seek to create a positive spirit among the people in the camp with a humanitarian motive in order to raise awareness to stand again for peace among people. We did not ask anyone to abandon their beliefs. On the contrary, we invite people to practice every belief that urges them to love and cooperate between them.

We are still in a difficult task, which is to distribute what we have to the people and we invite them to the system in order to receive what they need to maintain the good human condition, this is our role during the work.
