IRMAtimer is a newsletter regarding efficient irrigation & drainage management for agricultural crops and green infrastructure projects.It started in the framework of Efficient Irrigation Management Tools for Agricultural Cultivations and Urban Landscapes (IRMA) project; which was financed in the by the European Territorial Cooperation Programmes (ETCP) GREECE-ITALY 2007-2013 (www.greece-italy.eu)
by 75% EU (ERDF) and 25% national funds of Greece and Italy. The general objective of IRMA was to establish a network of knowledge and expertise exchange which could lead to the development of practical irrigation management tools for demand-driven capitalization of scientific knowledge and good practices. IRMA was carried out by SME’s support organisations, regional authorities, universities and research institutes. Now IRMA continues as an initiative which keeps the same goals under the umbrella of Good Agricultural Practices NGO.
