Utile pour communiquer mais aussi pour tricher : il peut se tenir à la verticale pour imiter la végétation sous-marine et piéger ses proies, ou prendre l'apparence d'un calmar beaucoup plus gros pour effrayer ses prédateurs !

Thanks to its pigment cells (chromatophores), it can display nearly 40 different patterns and colors!
Useful for communication, but also for deception: it can hold itself vertically to mimic underwater vegetation and ambush its prey, or even take on the appearance of a much larger squid to scare off predators!
