The Republic of Guinea has an arable land potential estimated at 15.5 million ha (25% exploited, either 3.85 million ha and 10% cultivated annually, either 1.5 million ha), an irrigable area of 364,000 ha.
Guinean agriculture has significant assets that offer many opportunities for accelerating growth and creating sustainable jobs.
This potential has the ability to ensure food self-sufficiency for the population, to generate significant export revenues, particularly through crops, and to open up profitable investments with high added value.
But nowadays, almost the entire Guinean population still faces famine, malnutrition and its derivatives.
It is time to support this sector with new technologies to give the chance of survival to millions of Guineans and other countries of the world.
