Successful Tree Planting Activity by the Kunkujang Keitaya Scout Troop!

On the 24th August, 2025, the scouts of Kunkujang Keitaya School embarked on a Tree Planting exercise geared towards promoting climate resilience and to protect our environment from climate crises. The event gathered over 75 enthusiastic scouts and non scouts including our ward councilor, Honourable Jainaba Jobe.

We successfully planted all seedlings across the school premises (both primary and upper basic school) and this was possible due to the unwavering committed, hardworking scouts who have been working tirelessly since in the beginning just to make sure the day is of great success. Scouts, however, have clearly demonstrated their commitment to nurturing and protecting all planted seedlings for a sustainable environmental conservation.

By extension, we will love to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the school administration, teachers, Kunkujang Keitaya scout council members, the scout teacher coordinator and the Red Cross volunteers for their support.

Thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to this successful event. Your presence and support mean the world to us!
