I had the opportunity to speak with Musa Manneh after he completed the Manchester Marathon in support of Nemasu Care Home.

What started as a promise, he went on to fulfil — not just with words, but with action. Actions truly speak louder than words.

Around £60 was raised, and the funds were used to purchase much-needed household items and groceries for Nemasu Care Home.

A very special thank you to Musa and everyone who donated towards his marathon run. Your generosity has directly helped our children and young people, and we are truly grateful.

A heartfelt thank you to Sainabou and the entire team at MORS Playhouse for welcoming us and hosting our residents from Nemasu Care Home. ❤️

We genuinely cannot recommend this place enough! Our residents had a wonderful day out and, most importantly, they felt included, welcomed and valued. 🥰

The MORS Playhouse team worked hand in hand with our Nafacares Homecare Service staff to ensure the kids were supported, comfortable and able to have fun. The patience, understanding and care shown by the staff truly made a difference.

Every child deserves the opportunity to play, socialise and enjoy themselves in a safe and inclusive environment. Thank you, Sainabou and the whole MORS Playhouse team. We will certainly visit again, InShaaAllaah! 🤲🏽❤️

🎀 PINK OCTOBER 2026 | OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🎀

C3G is pleased to officially announce that our 2026 Pink October Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Campaign will be held at Kanifing General Hospital on Saturday, 3rd October 2026.

Following a productive meeting with the management and clinical team of Kanifing General Hospital, we are proud to partner with one of The Gambia's leading public health institutions to strengthen efforts towards the early detection and prevention of breast and cervical cancer.

This campaign will provide free breast and cervical cancer screening services, while raising awareness about the importance of early detection and timely treatment. Detecting cancer early gives the best chance for successful treatment and saves lives.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the management and staff of Kanifing General Hospital for their warm reception and enthusiasm in partnering with C3G. We look forward to working together to deliver a successful Pink October campaign for the benefit of women across The Gambia.
