Greetings from Fanta Ansu Charity Foundation.
We are excited to launch our Annual Tree Planting Project, a community-driven initiative dedicated to creating a greener, healthier, and more sustainable environment across The Gambia.

Every year, our foundation brings together children, youth, volunteers, schools, and community members to plant trees that will benefit future generations.

Trees play a vital role in combating climate change, preventing soil erosion, improving air quality, providing shade, and preserving the natural beauty of our communities.
This year, we aim to plant hundreds of trees in schools, public spaces, and communities that are most vulnerable to environmental degradation.

Through this project, we also educate young people about environmental responsibility and empower them to become champions of conservation.
To make this vision a reality, we are seeking support from generous individuals, families, businesses, and organizations around the world.

Your donation will help us purchase tree seedlings, watering equipment, protective materials, transportation, and educational resources for participating communities.
No contribution is too small.

Every donation helps us plant more trees and create a lasting impact on the environment and the lives of local people.
Together, we can build a greener future for The Gambia.
Thank you for supporting Fanta Ansu Charity Foundation and our mission to protect the environment, empower communities, and inspire the next generation.

With gratitude,
Fanta Ansu Charity Foundation

Teaching children about plants is more than a nature lesson it’s a life lesson.
As they water, nurture, and watch plants grow, they learn patience, responsibility, and respect for the environment.

🌱 When a child plants a seed, they are planting hope for the future.

STORY OF A CHILD

My name is Awa, and I am a student in a small rural school. Before, our classroom was very quiet. We had a blackboard, a few old notebooks, and big dreams in our hearts, but we did not have reading books. Most days, our teacher would read to us, and we would listen and imagine the stories in our heads because there were no books to hold in our own hands.

Everything changed the day the FACF Foundation came to our school.
I still remember how happy I felt when I received my first reading book. I touched the pages slowly, like it was something very special. When I opened it, the words felt alive. For the first time, I could read by myself. I could learn new words, new ideas, and new stories about the world outside my village.
Now, when I go home, I read to my little brothers and sisters. At night, I practice reading, and my parents smile because they see me improving. Reading books have helped me understand my lessons better, speak with confidence, and believe that I can become something great in the future.

Because of the FACF Foundation, our school is no longer silent. You can hear children reading, laughing, and asking questions. Books have given us knowledge, hope, and courage to dream bigger.
We may live in a rural area, but with reading books and the support of the FACF Foundation, we feel seen, supported, and ready for a brighter tomorrow.

This smile is a result of kindness. Your support gives children confidence and hope.
