⚽ IYS Football Team Kicks Off Knockout Tournament with a Strong Start!

Last Sunday, the Inspiring Young Stars (IYS) football team began their knockout tournament journey, organized by SK Central, with an exciting match at Kanifing.

Facing Banjul Central, the game was highly competitive and went all the way to a penalty shootout. After a 2-2 scoreline.
Showing determination and teamwork, our boys held their nerve and secured a well-deserved victory!

A great start to the tournament we’re proud of the team and looking forward to the next match!

Phase 4 – IYS Grand Community Ramadan Iftar | Busumbala

Alhamdulillah! On 15th March 2026, Inspiring Young Stars (IYS) successfully hosted its Grand Community Ramadan Iftar in Busumbala, marking the final phase of the IYS Ramadan Iftar 2026 initiative.

The gathering brought together Young Stars, volunteers, community members, and local leaders in a spirit of unity and reflection during this blessed month. The program featured Qur’an recitations, Islamic poetry, and inspiring presentations by talented Young Stars, creating a meaningful and uplifting atmosphere.

Community leaders also took the platform to share valuable messages on the importance of moderation, good citizenship, peaceful coexistence, and strong moral values in today’s world, encouraging young people to uphold the principles of Islam and contribute positively to their communities.

The evening concluded with the sharing of Iftar, symbolizing compassion, generosity, and togetherness, values that define the Ramadan season.

This special gathering marked the successful conclusion of the Inspiring Young Stars Ramadan Iftar 2026 outreach, and we extend sincere appreciation to all volunteers, donors, community leaders, and supporters whose dedication made this initiative possible.

IYS Ramadan Iftar Outreach – Phase Three Update 13th March 2026,

Inspiring Young Stars (IYS) carried out the third phase of its Ramadan Iftar outreach, distributing essential food items to persons with disabilities at Serekunda Market.

Volunteers carefully packaged and distributed rice, cooking oil, and sugar to support vulnerable members of the community, bringing relief, smiles, and hope during this blessed month.
The activity once again demonstrated the spirit of generosity, compassion, and community service that Inspiring Young Stars continues to promote.

We sincerely thank our dedicated volunteers, donors, and members, whose unwavering support makes these initiatives possible. May Allah reward everyone involved.

NUSRAT IYS CHAPTER CONDUCTED A SUCCESSFUL HANDING-OVER MEETING

The Nusrat Inspiring Young Stars Chapter successfully conducted its handing-over meeting on Thursday, 12th March 2026, at the library of Nusrat Senior Secondary School.

The meeting brought together members of the chapter as the outgoing executive formally handed over responsibilities to the incoming leadership. During the session, words of appreciation and encouragement were shared while emphasizing unity, responsibility, and continuity within the chapter.

The transition marks another step in strengthening leadership and sustaining the mission of Inspiring Young Stars in nurturing young leaders within the school.

Congratulations to the Nusrat IYS Chapter and best wishes to the new leadership as they begin their journey of service and impact.

IYS RAMADAN IFTAR OUTREACH – PHASE TWO

As part of our ongoing Ramadan outreach, the Inspiring Young Stars (IYS) team carried out Phase Two of our Iftar Program at the Jeshwang Juvenile Prison.

Our dedicated volunteers spent the entire day at the facility preparing healthy and nutritious Iftar meals in the prison kitchen. With great care and teamwork, the meals were cooked and packaged for distribution.
At sunset, the team shared the prepared meals with young inmates, prison officers, and staff, ensuring that everyone present was able to break their fast with warm food, beverages, water, and dates.

The initiative was warmly welcomed by the prison authorities and the young inmates, who expressed sincere appreciation and heartfelt prayers for the organization and its volunteers. It was truly a humbling and meaningful moment for the entire team to share the blessings of Ramadan with those who often need support and compassion the most.

This outreach reflects the spirit of Ramadan sharing, compassion, and standing with vulnerable members of our community.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all IYS volunteers and supporters whose dedication made this activity possible.

Yesterday, our Inspiring Young Stars (IYS) team and volunteers brought joy and support to those who need it most. We distributed over 300 Iftar packs to patients at Bundung Maternal Hospital and Fajikunda Hospital, including women at the labor wards, health workers, and hospital staff.
As we continue this season of giving, we pray for blessings, health, and peace for everyone. 💛

INSPIRING YOUNG STARS DISTRIBUTES IFTAR TO TWO HOSPITALS.

Today, 6th March 2026, the Inspiring Young Stars successfully carried out an Iftar food distribution to two health facilities: Fajikunda Hospital and Jammeh Foundation for Peace Hospital.

The initiative forms part of the organization’s Ramadan outreach, emphasizing the importance of sharing food and showing compassion to those in need during this holy month.

Volunteers prepared and distributed meals to patients and people within the hospital environments, spreading kindness and solidarity.

The organization extends heartfelt appreciation to all volunteers and supporters who dedicated their time and effort to make this meaningful activity a success.
