Somewhere in a classroom, a girl is raising her hand for the first time because someone told her her voice matters.
A woman somewhere in a community is stepping into leadership because someone believed in her potential.
Somewhere, a woman is choosing courage over silence because another woman stood beside her.
This is what happens when we give.

When we give girls knowledge, they gain confidence.
When we give women opportunities, they gain power.

At Think Young Women, with our mentees and community folks, we see quiet beginnings grow into bold leadership and small investments create lifelong impact.

This , we are reminded that when we give to women, we all gain a stronger, fairer, and more hopeful world.

Happy International Women’s Day to every woman, may you always remember how powerful, valued, and beautifully capable you are. 💜

WE WON and our hearts are full🥳🥳🥳

We have been honored with the Women-Led Organisation Champion of the Year Award; a powerful recognition of years of showing up for girls and young women, amplifying voices, and pushing for rights, dignity, and opportunity.

We’ve been taking it all in, celebrating, reflecting, and honoring the journey that started in 2010 and continues to grow with purpose.

This win belongs to every girl who let us into her story, every partner who walked with us, and every activist committed to a future where young women thrive.

Here’s to continuing the work: louder, stronger, and more committed than ever. 💜

We’re truly honored to share that Think Young Women has been nominated for the Women-Led Organisation Champion of the Year — 2026 Edition at the NGOs/CSOs Awards Night.

This nomination is a reflection of every young woman who trusted us with her story, every partner who believed in our work, and every activist pushing for a more just future.

We celebrate how far we’ve come and recommit to the work ahead.

Today, our staff stand united in solidarity with millions of girls and women whose bodies, rights, and futures have been violated by FGM. This is not tradition. It is harm and it must end.

As a women-led organization , we refuse silence. We reject every excuse, every justification, and every system that allows this practice to continue. No girl should grow up carrying pain inflicted in the name of culture or control.

Ending FGM is possible when we act together. From our staff to communities, governments, faith and traditional leaders, parents, health workers, educators, and young people, we all have a responsibility to protect girls’ rights and bodily autonomy.

We speak up. We take action. We stand for every girl until FGM becomes a thing of the past.
