It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Lamin Jammeh, Vice President of The Musicians Union of The Gambia, which occurred on Saturday 5th September 2026.

Funeral will be held at Brusubi behind Medicare Today by 2pm.

Lamin has been an integral part of the Music Union and this is an enormous lost to the union and music fraternity.

It’s a great and thoughtful gesture for Hussain Dada and his management to give the Musicians Union of the Gambia 10 VIP Tickets to his SANJI JELU Album concert!

This goes without saying that Hussain has been one of those artist that keep in constant contact of his developments with the Musicians Union and hence this isnt by accident but by design.

We wish him the very best of luck and the Union will be in full attendance at this expected packed concert.
