Alhamdulillah!

Addressing the gathering as the CEO/President of Yakarr FC, I am delighted to share that our tree planting project in Foni Kussamai was a great success.

Today, Yakarr FC and the Daughters of Gambia Foundation joined hands with the community to plant trees as part of our shared commitment to environmental conservation, climate action, and building a greener future for The Gambia.

A total of 300 trees were planted at the nursery school, mosques, and family compounds, contributing to a greener, healthier, and more sustainable community.

I sincerely thank the community, volunteers, supporters, partners, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible. Every tree planted is an investment in the future of our environment and generations to come.

A special appreciation goes to Ousman Beyai and Basel Media for covering the event and helping share our message with a wider audience. Your support is truly valued

Special thanks to Bati–Ngalun Company Limited and Mansour Sowe for their valuable support in making this project a success.

May Allah (SWT) bless everyone who supported this initiative and make every tree planted a source of Sadaqah Jariyah. Ameen. 🌳💚

On behalf of the Daughters of Gambia Foundation, I had the honor of donating learning materials to support the quiz competition awards at Siffoe Lower Basic School.

Education is a powerful tool for shaping the future, and we are proud to encourage and celebrate academic excellence among our young learners. Congratulations to all the participants and winners. Keep learning, keep striving, and keep believing in yourselves.

This summer, Yakarr FC will join Daughters of The Gambia for a tree-planting activity in Foni, and we want our fans to be part of this meaningful initiative.

You can support us by donating a tree seedling or making a financial contribution toward purchasing seedlings. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us plant more trees and make a lasting impact on our environment.

Together, let's grow a greener future, one tree at a time. 🌱💚
