Youths for Sustainable Development 'YSD' The Gambia Is a non-profit, non-religious,non-governmental organization established in Brikama New Town West Coast Region 1st March 2012.

The organization comprise of intelligent young boys and girls who are very much determine to make positive change in their society through volunteerism.

Youths for Sustainable Development (THE GAMBIA), is a non-political, non-religious, non-governmental organization established in (Brikama Town) West Coast Region, on the 1st March, 2012. The organization was founded by three young determined Gambians in the names of: Mr. Lamin Ceesay as the (President), Mr. Ebrima Barrow, (Secretary General), and Mr. Omar Colley as the (Project Coordinator). The aim of the organization is to facilitate youths participation in economic, social, health and environmental development at the community and national level. Our goal is to connect, share knowledge, ideas, experiences, skills, and strategies on sustainable youth development issues. It also aims at promoting and improving the living conditions and health standards of the youths in our communities, and to increase youths and women participation in decision–making process. We also aimed at promoting the principles of peace and understanding among young people throughout The Gambia. With the objective of instilling good moral attitudes that will ultimately advance education, improve families.
