Culture is alive!!!

At our camp's creative expression and cultural day, the youth didn't just watch, they dove right in, expressing themselves through poetry, visual art, music and dance.

Huge thank you to the drummers from Bundung Home Red Cross Link for setting the rhythm, Musa Suso and artist Mariama Cham bringing that magic, Awa Bling with the hip hop energy, The Brain Poet dropping deep verses and Bright Stars Entertainment lighting up the stage.

Beyond the performances, hearing Mariama, Awa Bling, Bright Stars and Mr. Gibou M. Saidy share such powerful words and advice on creative expression meant the world to our participants. Watching them share their own creative work, connect with their roots and soak up that wisdom is what it's all about.

We had an incredible and enlightening Menstrual Health and Hygiene session led by the wonderful Ms. Fatoumatta Sanneh. Educating, breaking stigmas and ensuring proper hygiene education is key to empowering women and girls everywhere.
