The Wuli West District Youth Committee is pleased to announce the receipt of a generous donation of D35,000 from Agib Bank ๐Ÿฆ in support of the first-ever Youth Camp 1.0 in Wuli West.

On Friday the 20th of March, 2026.
The District Youth Committee of Wuli West District Executive Committee and Youth Camp 1.0 Organizing Committee held a very fruitful and successful meeting with Hon. Sabally the National Assembly Member for Wuli West District.
At his Home in Yorobawol.

Hon. Sabally is a key stakeholder of our upcoming first Ever Youth Camp 1.0 in Wuli West organised by The DYC with all Relevant stakeholders in the District.

Thanks so much ๐Ÿ™ Hon. Sabally for Honouring our request to meet you even though it was very prompt because due the tight schedules.
We are grateful and we look forward to having a successful Camp.

Earlier on Sunday, 10th January 2026,
the DYC Chairman for Wuli West District, Saikou A.K. Jallow, who also doubles as the Facilitator of the SWEDD+ Project for the Safe Spaces and HeForShe components, conducted a sensitization and orientation activity at Barrow K***a Village, Wuli West District, Upper River Region.
The Alkalo welcomed the attendees and expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the NYC and the SWEDD Project for selecting his community as the pilot site. He urged all stakeholders to take the project seriously. The Imam offered prayers for the successful implementation of the project and thanked Allah for the opportunity provided to the youth. Other speakers shared similar sentiments and advised the selected participants to take ownership of the project and capitalize on the opportunities available.
Following a successful meeting with community elders, VDC executives, women leaders, and youth groups, he also visited the selected site earmarked for the Safe Spaces pilot project, where he received first-hand information and inspected the area.

We have open applications for the Safe Spaces for girls, under the SWEED PROJECT within Fulladou and Wuli West District.

These spaces will be accommodating 15-20 females from the ages of 10-24 for a period, going through facilitated dialogues/teachings and mentorship programs with our trained individuals.

Criteria
1. Female 10-24
2. Out of school due to pregnancy, marriage or household responsibilities
3. Victims/survivors of Sexual and gender base violence
