Need for Quality Drinking Water Supply in Rural Gambia (NQDWS),This Nonprofit Organization is initiated to enhance access to quality drinking water supply in rural settlements especially those in Sandu, Wuli and Kantora in the Upper River Region. This initiative is ready to provide clean water supply in these areas because many communities in this Settlements face difficulties in having water supply talk less of clean water. Many Children 5 years below suffered from ill health due to poor quality drinking water supply, this hinders their health condition and can even lead into death or re****ed growth. I personally visited many of these communities in the rural settlements. Many settlements in this region use horse, donkey and cattle to draw water from well of 30 to 50 meters deep in other to have access to water, and is mainly use for domestic and farming purposes. Domestically, people use this water in cooking, drinking, washing, bath and other domestic chores and in the area of Farming, Livestock’s and vegetable gardeners depend heavily on water to support the growth of their products. Meanwhile, we are looking for support to enhance access to clean water supply in rural Gambia from Individual Philanthropist, Charity Groups and Organizations to make this Laudable initiative successful in achieving our aims and objectives of creating this nonprofit Organization.
