On Friday 6th March, we were blessed to have been able to do our annual ramadan outdoor iftaar in collaboration with Humanity Youth Foundation. We are grateful for all the donors that have trusted us enough to be able to do this.

Under the leadership of Mr. Ousman Njie, President of Unity Foundation for Islamic and Humanitarian Purposes (UFIHP), in collaboration with Al Saaf Foundation UK , UFIHP had the honor of delivering essential medical supplies to Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital (EFSTH), the nation’s largest tertiary referral and teaching hospital in Banjul.

These supplies include life‑saving drugs, a full medical cabinet, a CAZON electronic blood pressure monitor, medical magnifiers, and other vital kits.

The items were entrusted to the University of The Gambia Nursing Students Association (UTG‑NSA) in preparation for their nationwide outreach programs, ensuring nursing students have the critical tools needed to save lives.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Hon. Abdoulie Njai, Co‑Founder of UFIHP and Member of Parliament for Banjul Central, for facilitating this collaboration and championing primary health care initiatives in our community.

Community Borehole Project

To the Alkalo of Brikama Bakary Sambuyah, the village GDC , Honarable Lamin Sanneh national assembly member, community members , Mr Musa Sowe who rendered us a space in his house to install the community Borehole project, the Contractor Mr Modou Lamin, we show our utmost gratitude for the roles you’ve played in this project.

We’ve been working on this borehole project for a few weeks with the main aim of providing clean running water for the community of Brikama Bakary Sambuyah. We do know that it will greatly benefit this noble community.

We express our heartfelt appreciation to our collaborator Islamic Ummah Relief without whom we wouldn’t have achieved this goal.

This project holds huge significance as it not only addresses the immediate need for access to clean water but also paves the way for a brighter and healthier future for each individual residing there.

Water is a basic life necessity and access to clean water is fundamental human right. Unfortunately, many members of the community have been deprived of this necessity. We have witnessed the struggles and hardships endured by the fellow community members as they journey miles each day in search of clean water for their basic needs. Today marks a turning point - a commitment from all of us, a commitment to ensure that everyone gains access to clean running water, one step at a time.

As we handover this community borehole project, this symbolizes the foundation of hope and progress that this borehole project represents. It will serve as a lifeline, providing a consistent and reliable source of clean water for the community. Its impact will be far-reaching, ensuring better health, improved sanitation, and increased opportunities for education and economic growth.

May Allah shower his blessings and protection to everyone who participated.
