This page promotes the activities of the Waa North Association and at the same time lobby for possible collaboration with donors and individual that are from Banjul North now living abroad. Over the passed years, Banjul has been neglected by previous governments and until today there is little or no hope for the people of Banjul. There is high unemployment, poor sanitation, low skilled youthful p

opulation, economic collapse and unsafe structures from colonial era. The banjul North area which is the largest constituency in the city and home different tribe and political lines that had proved very hard to managed to and developed were the main cause of the lack of government consideration for projects. The W.N.C.A felt the need to step in the advocate for change and consideration first with the people so that change we want can start from the local, fight for equal opportunity for all regardless of tribe or party affiliations, bring in projects that will transform the lives of people, unify the people and the 3 constiuencies so Banjul can be the capital it should be. We believe that government alone can not do all, but can support and coordinate or invite donors and investors to the city. and relying on the sons and daughters of Banjul North who live abroad to come up with activities that could raise funds to support projects.
