Victory Foundation is a charitable organization established in Gambia with the aim to help young people discover and realize their potentials. In 2010, we started a one –on –one counseling and sensitization for youths within the Kombo area of the Gambia on career development, the negative effects of crimes and drug abuse as enemies of lasting peace and economic growth. Also, to protect our natural environment through afforestation and proper waste disposal. In other to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, a legal status was necessary and in 2011, Victory Foundation a non-political, non-religious and a not –for-profit organization was founded and legally registered as a charitable organization. The potential Youth Magazine is a Gambian based international youth magazine founded in 2016 by the above mentioned organization to transform the minds of young people globally. As we can all see, the world is going through economic and political stress. We are now cut up in a world where our governments have become our economic parents with crashing economies, a time when hospitals who are meant to save lives have becomes death traps, a time when terrorism and other organized crimes have taken the center stage attracting large number of young people globally, a generation where academic institutions built to mold characters now destroy them, a season when Science and Technology has turned against humanity and the once peaceful world we enjoyed has become a dangerous place where mass death is now almost a lifestyle .The truth is clear, the most vulnerable tools used in the accomplishment of these are the youths and until we get their minds right, the world will never be right. Our magazine is therefore intended to positively transform the minds of young people to become agents of social and economic change who will change the world for good and make a much better place for us all to live in.
