The Gambia Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) today welcomed six representatives from GWCC and the Gambia Startup Chamber of Commerce (GSCC), who returned from Beijing, China, following their participation in the Footwear Design and Production Technology Training Seminar, held from 8th–28th September 2026.

During a courtesy visit, they shared their experiences and presented their certificates to GWCC.

Congratulations to our six participants, and sincere appreciation to the Government and Embassy of China for their generous support.

The Gambia Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) is proud to announce the departure of four of its esteemed members to the People’s Republic of China to participate in the Training Course on Enhancing Agricultural Production Skills for Women in English-Speaking African Countries, scheduled for 13th October to 6th November 2026.

Representing The Gambia and GWCC, our distinguished participants are:

The participants’ trip is fully funded by the Government of the People’s Republic of China through the Chinese Embassy in The Gambia.

This training presents a valuable opportunity for our women to gain knowledge, acquire new skills, exchange experiences, and explore innovative approaches to enhancing agricultural production and empowering women in agriculture.

The Gambia Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) proudly congratulates six GWCC and Gambia Startup Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) representatives who successfully completed the Footwear Design and Production Technology Training Seminar in Beijing, China, from 8th–28th September 2026.

All six participants successfully completed the training and received two certificates recognizing their participation and practical footwear design training.
