In 2025, it falls on October 6 (today 🎉).

🌍 Theme and Purpose

World Architecture Day was established in 1985 by the (UIA) to:

Celebrate the work and social responsibility of architects

Reflect on how architecture shapes our societies and built environments

Promote sustainable, inclusive, and human-centered design

Each year, the UIA sets a theme that aligns with global development goals (like the UN SDGs).

In pursuance of Article 16 (b)...... (f) of the Serrekunda East Sports Development Organization (SESDO) Constitution, the SESDO Executive Committee has selected Mr. Ebrima M. Bah of Eagle Stars to serve as Co-opted Executive Committee Member with effect from 8th October 2024.

Hence, Ebrima M. Bah will bring a wealth of capacity and experience in the areas of information systems management and construction work. Currently, he is a final-year student at the University of The Gambia (UTG), pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Planning and Design.

Also, he engaged in part-time teaching, specializing in Building Drawing. Additionally, he holds a diploma in Architectural Draughtsmanship from the Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI), which has provided him with a solid foundation in both architectural drawing and construction work.

Therefore, M. Bah’s key skills lie in architectural designs and hands-on construction, blending theoretical knowledge with practical experience in the field.

By a share of this communique, all Stakeholders are hereby informed accordingly.
