A Proud Achievement for The Gambia! 🤼‍♂️🏆

Finally, our boys gave it their very best and proudly came out out of 31 participating countries at the Karakucak Wrestling World Championship in Türkiye! 🇹🇷🇬🇲

This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to their hard work, determination, discipline, and courage.

Congratulations to Arobaz, Chat, and Artist, and appreciation to their trainer LEKET BU BARRA and everyone who supported Team Gambia throughout the competition.

You represented The Gambia with pride. 5th out of 31 countries is something to celebrate! 👏🏽🇬🇲

Our own Tahi Jeng of Barra has successfully concluded a training on Disaster Management.

As we are in the rainy season, this training could not have come at a better time. As the Disaster Focal Person of the North Bank Region Red Cross Branch, Tahi represented the region with great enthusiasm, sharing interesting experiences, stories, and meaningful engagements throughout the training.

We are proud of your commitment to learning and serving our communities. May Allah put baraka in this knowledge, guide you in putting it into practice, and grant you the wisdom to help protect our communities from disasters.

Congratulations, Tahi! Barra is proud of you. ❤️👏🏾🇬🇲

Alhamdulillah! 🇬🇲

Today, the President of the Republic of The Gambia, His Excellency Mr. Adama Barrow, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Barra Road.

We sincerely thank His Excellency and the Government of The Gambia for this important and much needed consideration for the people of and the North Bank Region.

This road is more than just infrastructure, it is a step toward better connectivity, development, economic opportunities, and improved lives for our communities.

Alhamdulillah for this milestone. 🤲🏽🇬🇲

We pray that everything goes according to plan and that the project is completed successfully and on time.
