We are to have conducted our first basic peacebuilding training in the North Bank Region, Gambia. The session was led by one of our Country Ambassador Programme (CAP) alumni, Lamin Camara, who is currently serving as the Director of Research and Diplomacy at Peacepedia.

The training took place at Sheikh Muhammad Nasir Islamic School in Essau and brought together students to learn about Peacepedia and the EducateAfrica Project, which aims to eradicate illiteracy through technology and skill-based learning.

Webinar: Global Fuel Crisis ⛽️
We’re hosting an important conversation on the rising cost of fuel worldwide and what’s driving it. With ongoing tensions between Iran, United States and Israel affecting key oil routes like the Strait of Hormuz, many countries have seen prices jump by 40–50% since the conflict began.

You’ll hear from two insightful speakers:

1. Bochorishvili, currently pursuing a Master’s in Urban Studies at Malmö University in Sweden 🇸🇪

2. Bonaya, Climate and Environmental Advocate and Executive Director of Waso Green Movement in Kenya 🇰🇪

Together, they’ll unpack how the fuel crisis is evolving and what it means—especially for low-income countries across the Global South, the Gulf region, and Latin America.
