Meet , a dedicated educator, youth leader, and the dynamic Resource Mobilizer of Free Education Drive (FED) – The Gambia.

Nderry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of The Gambia. His academic journey was defined not only by excellence in the classroom but also by active student leadership — serving in key roles at both sub-association and Students’ Union levels.

Today, he brings his passion for service and education into every space he occupies.
Currently a Geography teacher at Muslim Senior Secondary School, Nderry continues to inspire young minds while contributing to community-centered initiatives.

Beyond FED, he plays a strong leadership role in other volunteer-driven organizations, including serving as an executive member of the Association of Gambian Geographers.

At FED, Nderry leads resource mobilization with dedication, helping to secure support, build relationships, and strengthen our mission to make education accessible to all.

Excited to have Ended this Week with Reflections from Last Week’s Alumni Refresher Training 2025!

Last week, Free Education Drive (FED) proudly participated in the Alumni Refresher Training 2025, represented by Musa Badjie, Country Coordinator, and Adam Secka, Finance Officer. Building on last year’s Local Fundraising (LFR) training, FED joined this year’s refresher sessions on LFR and the joint session with the Mobilising Support (MS) Cohort.

Over five days, FED connected with alumni from the 2023 & 2024 cohorts, revisited fundraising foundations, exchanged new strategies, and reflected on advocacy and community impact. The sessions were not just a refresher, they were a space to recharge, spark collaboration, and renew commitments to strengthening communities across The Gambia.

A big thank you to CASA Gambia, Change the Game Academy, and all participating organizations for this incredible opportunity. Since the training ended last week, FED is walking into this week energized, inspired, and ready to continue driving sustainable change.
