Peace 360 Initiative The Gambia today held a capacity building training on Peace and Conflict Resolution at the EDUSA School of Education, University of The Gambia.

This is the second cohort since Peace 360 Initiative The Gambia partnered with EDUSA. The training was attended by 50 participants, meeting our target number, along with several volunteers and students from the School of Education.

This partnership continues to create strong impact, and we appreciate EDUSA for always welcoming peace organizations. We extend our sincere appreciation to all volunteers and students who attended this training.

Peace and conflict resolution is an essential course for every society. Communities should be sensitized on how to handle conflicts between individuals and groups, as we encounter many conflicts in our communities, homes, and workplaces.

Our Facilitator and Global Coordinator, Hon. Mariama Sallah, outlined key basic concepts on how to handle conflict and address it in our societies.

Finally, we thank all the volunteers who sacrificed their time to make this training successful.

On the commemoration of The International Nonviolence Day, 5 members of Peace360 Initiative led by Kajally Sanneh joined our partner organization ( Nonviolence Advocates Association) at lemon creek for the celebration of the day. The event brought together young people from various organizations to discuss about nonviolence and it's importance to the society. We wish to use this opportunity to thank NAA for such an impressive initiative and to our volunteers for representing us. Together, we will make a huge difference!

Peace360 Initiative -The Gambia happily provided and conducted the planting of 75 Banana Suckers at Faraba Campus. This Initiative was supported by Alieu Sisawo through Peace360 West Coast Team in collaboration with the Agric Ministry of The University of The Gambia Students' Union. The suckers were distributed to the sub associations in the various Faculties and some were planted within the Campus and the Student Union Farm in Faraba. we are grateful to every individual who contributed to the success of the initiative.
