Our Team in Partnership with Manduar Youth with Vision in LRR has concluded a Tree planting in Manduar. The planting took place on 1st August 2026

On behalf of Peace 360 Initiative Organization - The Gambia, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all _Peace 360 Volunteers who attended the Tree Planting Activity at Kiang Manduar Village, Kiang West, Lower River Region.

This activity marks our first collaboration and it was a resounding success and achievement.

It was a busy but fulfilling day. Together we planted fruit trees within Manduar Village, including Manduar School and other parts of the community.

We also sincerely appreciate the presence and support of the Acting Alikalo, the elders, and the youths of Manduar Village who were all in attendance. Your leadership, guidance, and participation gave the activity great meaning and strength.

Peace 360 volunteers truly appreciated the _warm welcome_ we received today in Manduar, and we enjoyed our stay in the village.

We are glad and hopeful that this partnership between Peace 360 Initiative Organization and Manduar Youths With Vision will bring many more positive impacts and drive community development forward.

Peace 360 Initiative The Gambia today held a capacity building training on Peace and Conflict Resolution at the EDUSA School of Education, University of The Gambia.

This is the second cohort since Peace 360 Initiative The Gambia partnered with EDUSA. The training was attended by 50 participants, meeting our target number, along with several volunteers and students from the School of Education.

This partnership continues to create strong impact, and we appreciate EDUSA for always welcoming peace organizations. We extend our sincere appreciation to all volunteers and students who attended this training.

Peace and conflict resolution is an essential course for every society. Communities should be sensitized on how to handle conflicts between individuals and groups, as we encounter many conflicts in our communities, homes, and workplaces.

Our Facilitator and Global Coordinator, Hon. Mariama Sallah, outlined key basic concepts on how to handle conflict and address it in our societies.

Finally, we thank all the volunteers who sacrificed their time to make this training successful.

September 2023, We planted 250 trees in CRR north and few of the trees were planting in institutions. These pictures are beautiful plants grown at Firdawsy Police Checkpoint and we are so excited to know that the trees are growing well and have been well taken care of. We are grateful to our team, our donors and the police for such a great job.
