As part of the ongoing efforts of the SheTrades Hub to strengthen women’s participation in trade and value addition, a capacity-building training has been organised for leaders of women horticultural onion producers.

The training focuses on best practices in sorting, grading, and packaging of onions, equipping participants with the skills needed to improve quality, reduce post-harvest losses, and enhance market readiness as we prepare for the upcoming Moratorium.

This initiative reflects the Hub’s continued commitment to empowering women farmers, improving standards, and promoting sustainable and competitive agricultural trade.

Celebrating Member Achievements!

The Hub is proud to celebrate the achievements of its members! We successfully coordinated and facilitated the participation of two of our members in a two-week Youth Entrepreneurship and Leadership Training program held from 8th -21st July 2025 in Beijing, China.

Following their return, the team held a debriefing session with The Hub to share key takeaways and express their gratitude. They extended heartfelt thanks to the Ministry particularly the SheTrades team for their invaluable support in making this opportunity possible.

We remain committed to empowering our members through impactful global experiences and capacity-building programs. Here's to more milestones ahead!
