The Dream Achievers Committee of the Ultimate Mentorship Association (TUMA), participated in a Three-day Intensive Capacity Building Training on migration at the Immigration Department in Banjul.

The sessions were facilitated by Migration experts: Mr Alkali Jammeh and Momodou B. Jallow, who guided the mentees on migration, its different types, causes, myths, and challenges.

The training provided an opportunity for the mentees to interact with migration experts and learn how they can contribute to effective awareness and sensitisation on migration.

During the discussion, mentees were able to have a clear understanding of what causes movements and some recommendations to mitigate/control them in The Gambia.

As the Training concluded, we sincerely appreciate the Gambia Immigration Department for facilitating this valuable learning opportunity and sharing their knowledge with us.

In this regard, we warmly invite all TUMA mentees, members, and well-wishers to join us for a Sponsored Walk on Saturday, 29th August 2026, at Westfield, starting at 9:00 AM.

Your presence and support will go a long way in helping us make Regional Tour 2.0 a success. We look forward to seeing you all in large numbers!
