📢 Call for consultants in The Gambia

WFD is seeking a consultant to explore women’s representation and leadership in the judiciary in The Gambia, identifying key lessons and successful approaches that can inform efforts to strengthen women’s political leadership.

We are looking for experienced consultants with expertise in law, governance, gender and/or political systems, strong analytical and writing skills, and a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to high-quality research.

WFD–The Gambia, with support from the British High Commission the Gambia, is hosting a National Assembly simulation exercise for aspiring women candidates from all 53 constituencies across political parties.

Set in a parliamentary setting under the theme Women in Parliament, the exercise focuses on advancing the Charter for the Rights and Dignity of Women, Girls, and Women Living with Disabilities, while creating space for dialogue and mentorship between aspiring candidates and sitting female National Assembly Members.
