PRESIDENT’S INTERNATIONAL AWARD BIDS FAREWELL TO MR. CHAM

It is with honour that we bid farewell to Mr. Wandifa Cham as he retires from active service to the nation.

Mr. Cham has served the President’s International Award as the Admin and HR Manager since 2018, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the institution. He has also extended his efforts to other institutions, playing a meaningful role in national development.

Mr. Cham is a generous and dedicated individual who has devoted his life to serving the nation, from the First Republic until his retirement at the age of 65. He has been a role model to many junior staff, inspiring commitment and professionalism.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Management, staff, and volunteers, we sincerely thank him for his dedication, commitment, and invaluable service, and we wish him all the very best in his retirement.

PRESIDENT’S INTERNATIONAL AWARD- STC STUDENTS PRACTICAL

Pictorial highlights of the students from the Tailoring and Fashion Design department took part in an outdoor practical session on sewing machine cleaning and maintenance.

The session aimed at equipping them with essential skills including machine cleaning, dismantling and reassembling, as well as changing engine oil, strengthening their practical knowledge and technical competence.

ABUKANI AWARD CENTER - SINTET EXPEDITION

The participants of the Abukani Award Center visited the village Alkalo, Lamin Badjie, of Sintet Village, who warmly welcomed the team. During the visit, he shared the rich history of Sintet Village and provided valuable insights into the community’s background and traditions.

The participants had an interactive session with him, during which he offered prayers for everyone and emphasized that the Award Programme is a great opportunity for young people. He also shared his personal journey, noting that he previously served as a Commissioner of Police before retiring and assuming the role of Alkalo of Sintet Village.

As part of their cultural norms and values, the participants paid their respects to the head of the village, demonstrating discipline, humility, and appreciation for local leadership and traditions.
