The Center for Civic Awareness (C4CA) recently embarked on a two-day Educational trip in Albreda, where the team had insightful engagements with the community, schools and historical sites. The retreat also provided a more relaxed and inspiring environment for students to participate in interactive, engaging and educational sessions led by our able and dedicated coordinators.
This retreat forms part of the continued efforts of Center 4 Civic Awareness โThe Gambia to raise civic awareness among school-going children, inspire and expose them to new realities beyond the classroom and broaden their understanding of the world around them. Through visits to historical sites, students were given the opportunity to appreciate The Gambia's rich culture and heritage while developing a deeper sense of identity, responsibility and active citizenship.
Beyond the educational experience, the retreat created lasting memories, strengthened teamwork, encouraged meaningful conversations, and nurtured the values of leadership, service and community engagement among our students.
We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this journey.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Your support, encouragement and commitment are truly appreciated and have certainly not gone unnoticed. Together, we remain committed to empowering young minds and building a generation of informed, responsible and active citizens.
