NAA BAPRI MALIZALI NAA ENDORSES MACASIO’S RETURN CONCERT FOR NOVEMBER 7th.

Ghanaian musician Macasio and his team paid a courtesy call to the Naa Bapri Malizali Naa Palace earlier today to pay their respects and formally inform the chief of the return of their event. The team stressed that they could not move forward without first engaging the traditional authorities and securing their blessings.

Naa Bapri Malizali Naa expressed his pleasure at the news and assured Macasio and his team of his full support. He said he was particularly delighted that they had complied with the chiefs’ directive to cancel the previous show, describing it as a clear demonstration of respect for tradition and authority.

With the royal endorsement secured, the organizers confirmed the event is scheduled for 7th November. The Palace stated that it is pleased with the new arrangements and stands ready to support the program, setting the stage for a peaceful and well-supported return.

I had the privilege of witnessing a heartwarming performance by Tallywood, formerly known as the Northern Drama and Filmmakers Association. Their unity sketch for the Malizali Nayili and our community was truly inspiring. As someone who has undergone extensive training in theatre for development programs with the Abibigromma, School of Performing Arts at the University of Ghana, I can attest to the transformative power of community performances. I eagerly look forward to our future collaborations, which aim to empower communities through the universal language of theatre and performance. ❤️❤️❤️
