Growing up comes with questions and every child deserves the right guidance.

Through hands-on demonstrations, our male staff at the recovery center engaged the boys in an interactive adolescent development session, creating a safe space for open conversations, learning, and growth.

The session focused on personal hygiene, building confidence, and encouraging self-awareness, equipping the boys with the tools they need to navigate this stage of life with clarity and pride.

We wrapped up April on a powerful note ☂️💙

To commemorate this year’s , we successfully organized 3 impactful workshops and a radio advocacy program, reaching students, community members, and government stakeholders.

From the classroom to the community and onto the airwaves, important conversations were sparked around sexual violence against boys, child protection, and the need to create safe spaces where boys can speak up and be heard.

The engagement, openness, and commitment from participants were truly encouraging and a strong reminder that change is possible when we come together.

This is just the beginning. We will continue to raise our voices, break the silence, and protect boys better.

The recent rescue of 42 trafficked girls is a painful reminder that human trafficking continues to affect vulnerable lives in our communities.

In many cases, traffickers take advantage of vulnerable situations linked to economic activities such as illegal mining, trapping victims in cycles of exploitation and abuse.

As this rescue continues to gain attention, we are calling on the government and relevant stakeholders to take urgent and decisive action against illegal mining in our communities. Addressing this issue is key to preventing further exploitation and protecting vulnerable children and young people.

Join us in calling for systems that strengthen the prevention of abuse and ensure justice and protection for survivors.

🚨 INSIDE THE RESCUE OF 42 TRAFFICKED GIRLS IN GHANA

Over the weekend, Challenging Heights, in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service, rescued 42 girls trafficked from Nigeria into Ghana under false promises only to face exploitation and abuse.

Today, 36 are safe and receiving care at our recovery centre. Their journey to healing has begun.

This is more than a rescue. It’s a wake-up call on the growing crisis of cross-border child trafficking.
