Today we formally welcomed Annalise Victoria Ekua and Suilke Yaa to our school for their two months internship in our school. Annalise’s intention is to help educate our students, teachers and community about “ protecting the coastal environment and proper sustainable fishing practices while Suilke’s initiative is to create awareness about proper waste management and environmental conservation!
Ghana 🇬🇭 and the Netherlands 🇳🇱 have long history of partnership, some dark some positive. I am always intrigued by the positive energy these University students bring along in this far lands!

Today we finally say goodbye to one of our teachers who is leaving for her national service. Anita has been a teacher in the school for three years! We celebrated her departure and wished her well in the next phase of her live 🇬🇭

Today we get to say goodbye To as her field work for her Masters Thesis comes to an end! We wish you the very best in your next adventure 🇩🇰. We had a great time working with you in these past 3 months 🇬🇭👍

Today, we had important guest from Ghana Education Visiting the school, for approval of some important documents that we need!
The officials were very impressed about the school and to my surprise, one said “The owners of the school may be from abroad” 🤔 we had to correct him that the school is local owed and managed.! But upon sober reflection, all that the school has become is as result of people from far who have helped the school greatly just like Kashmira Sheth and Rajan Sheth who have not been to Ghana before but who have once again helped us completely renovate and rebuild five (5) classroom blocks.
We are very much grateful for all the help that has come our way in recent years. 🇬🇭❤️

# After serving faithfully for seven 7 years, our first classroom blocks have to give in to the demolition “squad* as we begins to renovate the entire structure 🇬🇭❤️

# when we took the decision to start a formal school, we had only one structure, under which we gathered the people in the community and told them we were going to start a school and presented 5 children who were ready to enrolled in our yet to be school. We did some structural adjustment and were able to get four (4) little classrooms to start the school the following week on 11th September 2018. These classrooms are still being used as part of our classrooms until we got help to change these classrooms. 🇬🇭❤️

In recent times there has been some significant changes in our schools infrastructure! Recently a friend who has been in the school in the past said, she might not recognize the school when she comes back! This true to some point, this is why we chose to be reminding ourselves our past and staying humble and always showing gratitude and appreciation for all who helped us get this far! 🇬🇭❤️

I walked pass the washroom to see how the children felt about the changes and also finally getting running water into the washroom! It looks like some children now prefer the washroom more than playing outside!
We are grateful for all who donated to support the washroom renovation project. 🇬🇭❤️
