Empowering Communities through Financial Literacy & VSLA Training in Danku

We had an amazing opportunity to connect with the Danku community on a vital subject: Financial Literacy and Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs). With a lively group of 80 to 100 participants, we dove into the importance of saving, responsible borrowing, and smart financial planning to boost economic resilience. VSLAs serve as a crucial support system for underserved communities, allowing members to save together, access loans, and invest in their future without depending on traditional banks.

Key takeaways from our discussions:

- Budgeting & Smart Money Management

- VSLA Best Practices

- Financial Security

- Income Generation

Financial literacy is the cornerstone of economic empowerment, and CISLIG-Ghana is thankful to everyone for being part of this transformative initiative.

Let’s keep pushing towards sustainable financially security and self-sufficient communities together.

Many more are still living in poverty and climate change is fast approaching.
Is not a day to celebrate but a day to reflect and act positively in a collective way to create more sustainable interventions so we can have a better Ghana for ALL.
6th March, a day of liberation but many more are not liberated and many of past actions have not done much enough to provide decent lives for the people.
WE MUST ACT NOW!!!!!!!

PATH TO PEACEFUL VOTING
Peace is one of the most important ingredients of a stable mind in the physical body. It serves in the domain of economics and many other sectors of every nation.
It is, therefore, incumbent on all and sundry to exercise their franchise most peacefully.
Let us all head-on with the mind of peace for ourselves, the country, and the vulnerable.
Your thump is the source of peace and hope for the hopeless.
