📢 Request for Proposals - Establishment of Community-Based Shea and Indigenous Tree Nurseries

The Global Shea Alliance (GSA), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is seeking qualified partners under the Shea Business Empowerment Program.

The partners are needed to support the establishment and operationalisation of six community-based shea and indigenous tree nurseries, within selected shea parklands.

These nurseries will:

🌱 Produce seedlings (shea and indigenous tree) for restoration
👩🏾‍🌾 Create dignified jobs for financially-disadvantaged young women
🌍 Strengthen climate resilience in shea producing communities
🤝 Support women-led cooperatives and sustainable livelihoods

Interested applicants are invited to download, complete and submit the application form according to the provided guidelines.

Our overarching goal is to protect the environment today to ensure a better tomorrow for future generations. Each tree planted brings us closer to achieving this mission. Teepalig Rural Reforestation (T.R.R) was honored to participate in a powerful 3-day conference organized by the Global Shea Alliance.

The gathering brought together industry leaders, development partners, and stakeholders across the shea value chain, creating a strong platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and strategic collaboration. It was an inspiring experience filled with meaningful discussions on sustainability, value addition, and the future of the shea sector in Ghana, Africa, and beyond.
