*SHILOH FIRE MINISTRY-HOUSE OF PRAYER*

It was *Children's Day Celebration* today. The programme featured *_"Bible and poem recitations, drama, sword drills and quote-I-quote"_*

Delivering the sermon for the day, one of our kids from the *Kingdom Kids Ministry* by name, *Agyapong Konadu Princess* brilliantly presented the sermon titled;

*Increasing In Divine Wisdom To Impact The Church And The World*

She cited *Luke 2:52* as key text and spoke as follows:

> "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God"<

The Bible says even Jesus as a small boy like us, was growing in wisdom. He was not only growing tall, He was growing wise.

God does not want you to be only a fine boy or fine girl. God wants you to be a wise child who will change your church and your world.

*What is Divine Wisdom?*
Divine Wisdom is not just passing your exams. Divine wisdom is knowing what God will do and doing it. It is thinking like God.

2. HOW CAN WE INCREASE IN DIVINE WISDOM? - 3 Simple Keys

*A. FEAR GOD AND LOVE HIS WORD*
Proverbs 9:10 says "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."
If you love God, respect Him, and obey Him, you will be wise.
_How?_ - Read your Bible daily. Even one chapter. A child who reads the Bible will be wiser than an adult who doesn't.

*B. ASK GOD IN PRAYER LIKE SOLOMON*
Solomon was a young boy when he became king. He asked God for wisdom, not toys, not money. And God made him the wisest man.
Children, every day before you go to school, pray: "God, give me wisdom today."

*C. OBEY YOUR PARENTS, TEACHERS AND PASTORS*
Ephesians 6:1 - Wisdom enters your life when you listen to correction.
Daniel and his friends in the Bible obeyed God and they became 10 times wiser than all the other children in Babylon. Daniel 1:20

3. WHEN WE ARE WISE, WE IMPACT TWO PLACES

*A. WE IMPACT THE CHURCH*
How?
1. You will sing, pray and serve God well.
2. You will be an example - other children will see you and follow Jesus.
3. You will bring your friends to church.

A wise child makes the church strong!

*B. WE IMPACT THE WORLD*
How?
1. In school - you will pass and make good decisions, no bad friends.
2. At home - you will help and bring peace, not trouble.
3. Tomorrow - like Joseph and Esther, God will make you a leader to save many people.

*SHILOH FIRE MINISTRY – HOUSE OF PRAYER*

We thank God for His manifest presence as we worshipped and praised Him this season!

Ministering the word for the day, the lord's servant, *Pastor Isaac Ahenkorah* prophetically spoke on the theme, *YOUR BACKGROUND*. He delivered the word as follows:

1. *Jesus' background was nothing impressive*

He came from Nazareth — a town with no reputation for greatness. No king, no prophet, nothing notable ever came out of that place (John 7:52 — "no prophet comes from Galilee"). When Philip told Nathanael he'd found the Messiah, Nathanael immediately replied: "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" (John 1:46). Even His own hometown people looked down on Him once they remembered where He came from and whose son He was (Matt 13:55-57).

They saw Nazareth. God saw the Messiah.
They saw where He came from. God already knew where He was going.

*Your background is not your destiny!*

*2. History doesn't have to repeat through you*

Nazareth's reputation was already heavy with history. Samson — the most famous Nazarite associated with that region — had a covenant with God from birth, yet died a violently painful death, cut down in the very prime of his life. So a kind of fear followed men from that background: called by God, yet destroyed before fulfilling their purpose.

That's why Nathanael's doubt wasn't just mockery — it was shaped by real history. He was, without realizing it, speaking a fear many carried: *"good things don't survive coming out of a background like that."* He was even saying, in effect, don't waste your time following this man — something in His foundation means His success won't last.

Maybe your family has a history. Maybe your location has been looked down on. Maybe your past is something people keep reminding you of. But whatever happened before you does *not* have to happen through you. Your background explains your start — it doesn't have the authority to determine your finish.

*3. Jesus broke the pattern — and so can you*

They said His success wouldn't last, that His background disqualified Him. Jesus proved them wrong. He did not repeat Samson's tragic ending — He fulfilled His full purpose from a background everyone had already written off.

*A bad background does not determine your ending.*
If God brought the Messiah out of a "nowhere" town, with a history of tragedy already attached to His people, He can bring something good out of you too!

They know your background — but they don't know what God has put inside you. They know where you came from — but they don't know where God is taking you.

*Rise above the labels. Rise above the history. Rise above what people have said.*

Your background cannot cancel God's purpose for your life.

**SHILOH FIRE MINISTRY – HOUSE OF PRAYER**

Today, we experienced the glory of God and His awesome presence as we gathered in His house. Through a powerful moment of praise and worship, we basked in His presence and celebrated His goodness, faithfulness, and unfailing love.

The Word of God was delivered by the Presiding Elder, *Jacob Nii Lantei Odartey*, who ministered under the leading of the Holy Spirit as follows:

**SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP IN THE CHURCH**

Memory Verse: Mark 10:45

> “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Service is using your gifts, time and strength to work for God and for His people. Every believer is called to serve

1. WE ARE ALL CALLED TO SERVE

Every believer has a place in God's house.

Whether through prayer, preaching, teaching, evangelism, cleaning, ushering, media, giving, or supporting missions, every service matters.

> “Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord...” — Colossians 3:23

God does not look at how big your service is, but at the heart behind it. — 1 Samuel 16:7

2. LEADERSHIP IS SERVICE

In God's kingdom, leadership is not about being a boss; it is about serving people.
Christian Leadership is not about position or title, it is about *INFLUENCE through SERVICE.*

Jesus said:

> “Whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.” — Matthew 20:26

A true leader does not ask, “Who will serve me?” but “Who can I serve?”

3. A SERVANT LEADER MUST HAVE CHARACTER

A good church leader must be:

Faithful — 1 Corinthians 4:2
Humble — James 4:6
A servant at heart — John 13:14–15
A good example — 1 Timothy 4:12
A shepherd who cares for God's people — Jeremiah 3:15

Jesus demonstrated this perfectly when He washed His disciples' feet.

4. LEARN FROM GODLY EXAMPLES

The Bible gives us great examples of servant leaders:

Jesus — the perfect Servant Leader.
Moses — a humble servant.
David — a shepherd before becoming king.
Nehemiah — sacrificed his comfort to rebuild the wall.
Paul — served the Lord with humility.

Their lives remind us that greatness in God's kingdom is connected to service.

5. GOD NEVER FORGETS FAITHFUL SERVICE

People may not always notice what you do, but God sees your service.

> “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love...” — Hebrews 6:10

And one day, the faithful servant will hear:

> “Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

CONCLUSION

If you want to be great in God's house:

Serve faithfully.
Stay humble.
Be an example.

Remember: The greatest leader is the greatest servant.

The presence of God blessed us tremendously as we worshipped, praised, and prayed. The Word Encounter session was spirit-filled, with the seasoned Word of God blessing us.

The Man of God, *Pastor Isaac Ahenkorah* spoke as led by the Spirit on the topic:

*WHEN JESUS IS INVOLVED*

TEXT: JOHN 2:1–8

JOHN 2:3–4 — NLT, MSG, NIV

«“... They have no more wine...” (3)
“...My time has not yet come...” (4)»

*INTRODUCTION*

Jesus was at a wedding ceremony in Galilee, at Cana, when He was confronted by His mother to become involved in a situation. Mary knew Jesus’ capacity and ability to deliver, so she involved Him in the matter.

Most often, we say, “God’s time is the best,” but our decisions, such as how we serve God with a godly heart and physically prepare ourselves, can position us to embrace the miracle.

You can always change your story through your sacrifice, obedience, honesty, prayer, and service to the Lord and His work.

Jesus’ time had not yet come, but He was pushed by His mother to release a miracle.

---

1. GET INVOLVED IN THE WORK OF GOD

Most of us delay our own miracles through laziness and disservice. We only participate in meetings, but we are not involved in anything.

Get involved by sweeping, cleaning the washrooms, singing, playing instruments, etc. Do something now to push for your miracle.

Have a servant’s heart and serve diligently. Do not engage in eye-service.

What are you doing to release your miracle?

2. PRAY YOUR WAY THROUGH

Apart from using your service to push for your miracle, the next thing is to pray.

Matthew 7:7; Jeremiah 33:3; Numbers 14:28

Pray your way through and seek the face of God for the release of your miracle.

3. DO THE WORK OF GOD DILIGENTLY

Be strong and do the work of God diligently, because God rewards your work. God’s reward will surely come, so do your work well as you wait for your miracle.

All that we do is credited to our account, which becomes a memorial for God to use to bless us.

Each and every one of us must play our part to make all things work together for good.

4. OBEY WHATEVER JESUS TELLS YOU

JOHN 2:5

«“Do whatever he tells you.” (5)»

Obedience is also another way to push for your miracle to come through. Obedience shortens your time of manifestation.

*NB: Jesus can turn your disappointment into a miracle*

Jesus’ time had not yet come, but Mary got Him involved in the wine shortage. She pushed Him to do something. She then instructed the servants to obey Jesus, and they gladly obliged.

This string of actions pushed Jesus to act and work a miracle.

*CONCLUSION*

When Jesus is involved, our situation can change.

Let us therefore:

1. Get involved in the work of God.
2. Pray our way through.
3. Do the work of God diligently.
4. Obey whatever Jesus tells us.

*SHILOH FIRE MINISTRY - HOUSE OF PRAYER*

Today's service took a wonderful turn with the spirit of God blessing us with the wisdom for living wisely to protect our deliverance and destiny.

Delivering the sermon for the day, Pastor Isaac Abenkorah, led by the Spirit of God, ministered on the topic:

A TOUCH FROM JESUS

INTRODUCTION

In Mark 8:22–26, we meet a blind man in Bethsaida whose friends bring him to Jesus with one simple request: they beg Jesus to touch him.

What follows is one of the most unusual healing accounts in the Gospels. Jesus takes the man by the hand, leads him outside the town, touches his eyes, and the healing takes place in stages.

This passage teaches us that sometimes God must move us out of a place before He can move fully in us.

Bethsaida means "house of fishing," a name connected with provision and daily livelihood. Yet this was also a place marked by unbelief. Jesus had already rebuked Bethsaida because of its failure to respond to the mighty works it had witnessed.

Matthew 11:21
"Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works... had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago."

The atmosphere of a place can matter.

---

1. THE SETTING: BETHSAIDA AND THE ATMOSPHERE OF UNBELIEF

Mark 8:23
"And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town..."

Ordinarily, Jesus healed people wherever He found them. But in this particular case, He did something different: He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village before healing him.

Why?

Bethsaida was a place marked by hardened unbelief and rejection of Christ's works. The issue was not that Jesus lacked power in Bethsaida; rather, the environment was not conducive to what God wanted to do.

Sometimes the village creates an atmosphere that prevents healing.

Not every location, relationship or atmosphere is safe for your breakthrough. Some environments resist healing, growth and spiritual progress.

Sometimes obedience means being willing to let God lead you away from a familiar place before He can complete His work in you.

Therefore, we must ask ourselves: Are there atmospheres in our lives that resist our healing, growth or breakthrough? Are we willing to let God lead us out, even by the hand, before we can fully see what He wants to show us?

2. THE TOUCH: A PROCESS, NOT JUST AN EVENT

Jesus spat on the man's eyes and laid His hands on him.

Mark 8:23–24
"And when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking."

The man's sight began to open, but he could not yet see clearly.

This reveals an important truth:

Sometimes the first move of God's hand is enough to give us spiritual sight—to begin perceiving where the problem is coming from—even before we can see everything clearly.

The man said, "I see men as trees, walking."

The trees can represent:

- Enemies of progress—obstacles standing in the way of forward movement.
- Resistance, barriers and limitations—things that hinder or slow down what God is trying to do.
- Demonic opposition—spiritual forces working against the breakthrough.

This partial sight was not a failure of the miracle. It was a stage of the miracle.

God does not always reveal everything at once. Sometimes He gives us just enough clarity to recognize the "trees" standing in our way before He clears them entirely.

Matthew 15:13 says:

"Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted."

Therefore, if your breakthrough feels partial or blurry right now, don't despise the process. God may be giving you enough spiritual sight to identify the resistance before He removes it.

3. THE SECOND TOUCH: FULL RESTORATION

Mark 8:25
"Once more, Jesus put His hands on his eyes and made him look up. His sight was restored, and he saw everyone clearly."

Jesus touched the man a second time, and the healing was completed.

The second touch brought full restoration.

Jesus did not abandon a work halfway done. He completed what He had started.

This agrees with Philippians 1:6:

"He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."

Sometimes we become discouraged because God's work in our lives is not yet complete. But this man's experience teaches us that a process is not a failure.

If you are seeing more clearly than you used to, thank God for the progress.
If your breakthrough is still developing, don't give up.

The God who begins the work is faithful to complete it.
The hand that touched you once can touch you again.

---

4. THE INSTRUCTION: SENT HOME, NOT BACK TO THE VILLAGE

After healing the man, Jesus gave him a specific instruction.

Mark 8:26
"And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town."

Jesus sent the man home, but told him not to go back into the village.

This reinforces the entire lesson of the passage.

The healing happened outside Bethsaida for a reason, and Jesus made sure the man did not return to the very atmosphere that had been associated with his blindness.

Home was safe. The village was not.

Once God touches you and opens your eyes, be careful about returning to the atmospheres, company and environments that once fed your blindness.

Deliverance can be undermined by returning to the wrong environment.

If God has brought you out, don't keep going back.

If God has changed your life, don't return to the things that kept you bound.

You can love people without returning to an atmosphere that is harmful to your destiny.

You can forgive people without allowing them to influence you again.

Jesus did not tell the man to hate the village. He simply told him not to return to it.

Go home—but don't go back to the village.

---

CONCLUSION

A touch from God is sometimes not a single, isolated moment. It is a process.

1. He leads us out of atmospheres that resist our healing.
2. He touches us once, giving us enough spiritual sight to recognize what is standing in our way.
3. He touches us again, bringing full clarity and restoration.
4. He instructs us to walk wisely afterward and not return to what nearly kept us blind.

Sometimes God will not heal you where you are.

He will call you out first.

Trust the hand that leads you, even when you cannot yet see clearly, because the same hand that leads you out is the hand that will touch you into full sight.
