To build a compassionate and inclusive society where vulnerable communities across Africa have equitable access to quality healthcare, education, and sustainable livelihoods.
MISSION STATEMENT
To empower disadvantaged groups by promoting community health, education, and social support through advocacy, outreach, and sustainable development programs that transform lives and foster long-term resilience.
OBJECTIVES OF HCAF
1. Improve Access to Primary Healthcare
Conduct regular medical outreach programs in rural and underserved communities.
Provide essential medications, basic laboratory services, and preventive healthcare education.
Strengthen community health systems by collaborating with local health facilities.
2. Promote Reproductive Health Education in Schools
Deliver age-appropriate sexual and reproductive health education to adolescents.
Equip young people with knowledge and life skills to make informed health decisions.
Reduce teenage pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and school dropouts.
3. Support Vulnerable Populations
Provide food aid, healthcare, and emotional support to the aged, widows, and single mothers.
Advocate for the rights and welfare of vulnerable groups in society.
Empower widows and single mothers through economic strengthening programs.
4. Enhance Access to Clean Water and Sanitation
Undertake borehole drilling projects to provide safe and sustainable water sources.
Promote community hygiene and sanitation practices.
Reduce the incidence of waterborne diseases in rural communities.
5. Promote Vocational and Skills Development
Establish vocational training centres for unemployed youth and women.
Offer training in trades such as tailoring, hairdressing, ICT, agriculture, and entrepreneurship.
Support trainees with start-up kits and mentorship to ensure self-reliance and poverty reduction.
6. Foster Community Development and Empowerment
Build the capacity of local leaders, youth, and volunteers to drive community-led initiatives.
Encourage civic responsibility and community participation in development.
Partner with stakeholders (government, NGOs, and private sector) for sustainable development.
