Condolence Message - Charity Network Ghana
It is with profound sorrow that Charity Network Ghana joins a grieving nation in mourning the untimely loss of eight devoted public servants who perished on August 6, 2025, in a tragic helicopter crash in the Ashanti Region.
We honour:
• Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, whose leadership in national defence inspired many,
• Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, who championed environmental stewardship and innovation,
• Muniru Mohammed, Samuel Sarpong, and Samuel Aboagye, whose public service reflected deep commitment to community and country,
• As well as Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, Flying Officer Manaen Twum Ampadu, and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah, whose courage in service safeguarded Ghana’s skies.
These eight gallant souls were not just officials—they were beacons of hope, integrity, and national pride. Their mission to confront illegal mining resonated deeply with Charity Network Ghana’s values of ecological preservation and societal well-being.
In this time of shared grief:
• We stand with their families, the Ghana Armed Forces, and all those who mourn their passing.
• We reaffirm our commitment to carrying forward the vision they served—protecting Ghana’s land, its people, and our collective future.
• We pray for comfort and resilience for their loved ones and for the healing of a nation that grieves.
May their memory remain a guiding light. May their souls rest in peace.
