This time last week, the African Science Academy proudly celebrated the graduation of the Alexandrite Class of 2026, a milestone moment marking a year defined by academic excellence, personal growth, and remarkable determination.
Named after the rare and captivating gemstone, the Alexandrite Cohort has truly embodied its spirit: resilient, dynamic, and radiant under pressure. Throughout their time at ASA, they embraced rigorous academic challenges, built meaningful and lasting friendships, and strengthened the confidence to pursue bold ambitions in STEM and beyond.
Their graduation is not just the conclusion of their time at ASA but a powerful beginning! As they step forward into opportunities across the world, they carry with them the values, learning, and community that have shaped their journey at ASA.
To the Alexandrite Cohort: congratulations on everything you have achieved. We look forward with pride and anticipation to the impact you will make in the years ahead.
Congratulations, Class of 2026 ✨
