Tema Industrial Lions Club in collaboration with Jireh Eye Medical Centre & PharmaGeorge Pharmacy present....
EYE 👁 WANT TO HELP

A vision activity concept with 3 meanings in 1.

1. The Wordplay - EYE = I
- EYE stands for eye health, vision, sight.
- I stands for the individual - ME, YOU, EVERY LION.
So when we say "EYE WANT TO HELP", we mean "I WANT TO HELP" restore sight. It is to make every member personally responsible.

2. The Compassion Meaning
We want to expresse empathy by saying 'I see your struggle to see. I cannot walk past. I want to help you see your children, your books, and work well."
We're moving the project from just medical screening to an act of love. We are not just giving glasses and medication, we are giving dignity.

3. Giving Meaning to Lions Mission.
We're directly connecting to our core mandate as Lions.
- Our first global cause was given by Helen Keller in 1925 when she challenged Lions to be "Knights of the Blind."
- For over 100 years, Lions have been the protectors of sight.
So "EYE WANT TO HELP" is our way of saying: _"We are still keeping that promise. We Serve through Sight."_

Venue: Tema Technical Institute, Community 7, Near GTP.
Date: 26th October 2026
Time: From 8am prompt

On 26th August 2026, we participated in the 1st District Governor's Advisory Committee Meeting [Zone 1E] at the Coconut Groove Regency Hotel, Accra.

A moment of fellowship with other Lions to review activities for the 1st quarter of the service year.

The impact was awesome as usual, with the fine thoughts from the speakers.
