Throwback to March 💉❤️

The halls of Holy Child School were filled with something stronger than fear.
Courage.

Alumni, students, teachers, and volunteers rolled up their sleeves. Not for grades. Not for awards.
For lives they may never meet.

In one day, we didn’t just donate blood.
We gave mothers more time. Fathers another chance. Babies a future.

That’s the power of Dua Pa, when you climb a good tree, we give you a push.
And Holy Child pushed HARD.

To every donor: You are someone’s miracle.
Let’s do it again soon.

Kids from the Kwaaba Foundation After-School Program were priviledged to interact and share their stories with 14 year old Zoe Oli, who is currently conducting Story Telling workshops in Ghana.

Amongst many things, Zoe reminded them that stories should evoke an emotion or teach a lesson. She has published 6 books including picture books, activity books and journals with 2 more expected to be published.

Her book, Beautiful Curly Me was special to her because she wrote it at age 7.

She creates a line of beautiful black dolls of diverse backgrounds, and her dolls are sold in Target stores in the US nationwide. For every doll purchased one is donated to a kid in need.

I had an amazing time with the kids in the Kwaaba Foundation Program, they had some amazing stories and I am grateful I got to inspire and encourage them."
