This month at Behind The Smile, our theme is:
"From Surviving to Thriving: Choosing Hope Every Day."
For many of us, life has brought unexpected pain, unanswered prayers, heartbreaking losses, and seasons we never imagined we would have to endure.
Yet by God's grace, we are still here.
Surviving is a testimony. But God desires more than survival—He is leading us toward healing, restoration, renewed purpose, and a life filled with hope.
Throughout this month, we will journey together as we explore:
Choosing hope in difficult seasons.
Healing without pretending the pain never happened.
Rediscovering purpose after loss.
Growing stronger through faith.
Learning to thrive, one day at a time.
No matter where you are on your journey, you belong here. Whether you're grieving, rebuilding, waiting, or celebrating, I pray this community becomes a place where your heart finds comfort, encouragement, and the reminder that God is with you every step of the way.
Our Scripture for August
"Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." — Psalm 30:5
This verse reminds us that pain has a season, but it does not have the final word. Morning always follows the longest night, and God is faithful to bring hope, healing, and new beginnings.
As we step into this new month, may you find the courage to keep believing, the strength to keep moving forward, and the faith to embrace all that God has prepared for you.
