Former Youth Finance Chairman Appointed Bono East Regional NHIA M&E Officer
Bono East, Ghana, In a development that has stirred pride and optimism across the Bono East Region, Mr. Amos Nsiah Kpene, a prominent youth leader and seasoned advisor, has been appointed as the new Regional Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer for the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) in Bono East.
Mr. Nsiah Kpene is well known for his impactful service as the Chief Advisor to the former Bono East Regional Youth Organiser, Bilal Muazu Sulemana, as well as his role as Chairman of the Finance Committee of the Bono East Youth Wing from 2019 to 2022. His leadership during this period helped to strengthen the financial discipline and strategic planning of the youth wing, leaving a legacy of accountability and effectiveness.
A native of Kintampo North, Mr. Nsiah Kpene brings to his new role a wealth of experience in grassroots leadership, youth mobilization, and data-informed decision-making. His appointment has been welcomed by many within the region, who see it as a well-deserved elevation and a strategic move to enhance the NHIA’s service delivery.
“This is a man who understands both the technical and human aspects of public service,” said a community health official in Techiman. “He is deeply connected to the people and has the capacity to ensure that health insurance services in Bono East are not only monitored but improved.”
As M&E Officer, Mr. Nsiah Kpene will be responsible for tracking and evaluating the performance of NHIA programs across the region, ensuring that operations meet national standards and respond effectively to the health needs of communities.
