πŸ’‘ STRENGTHENING VOICES, IMPROVING SERVICES!

RACED Ghana, in collaboration with World Vision Ghana, successfully conducted a Capacity Building Training for newly formed Citizen Voice and Action (CVA) groups and key service providers in Zabzugu District. πŸ§‘πŸΎβ€πŸ«πŸ€

The training aimed at equipping participants with practical skills to promote accountability, dialogue, and joint action for improved health, education, and social protection services. COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT IN ACTION!

Last week, RACED Ghana, in partnership with World Vision Ghana, carried out a successful Citizen Voice and Action (CVA) sensitization across five communities in the Zabzugu District.

The engagement aimed to increase community understanding of their rights and responsibilities, promote social accountability, and strengthen collaboration between citizens and service providers. As part of this effort, CVA Groups were formed in all five communities, paving the way for sustained local advocacy and improved service delivery.

Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive future where every voice counts and communities are actively shaping the development they deserve.

This timely training strengthened the capacity of committee membersβ€”drawn from both refugee and host communitiesβ€”to promote peaceful coexistence, social accountability, and rights-based engagement. Participants explored critical topics such as:
βœ… Conflict resolution and mediation
βœ… Grievance redress and referral pathways
βœ… Rights and responsibilities of refugees and host populations
βœ… Community Voice and Action (CVA) model for holding duty bearers accountable

The training marks a key step in equipping communities with tools to enhance transparency, resolve conflict, and build inclusive, resilient systems of local governance.
