Great Initiate Foundation was principally established as a non-governmental organization whose mandate is to promote sustainable human development interventions. Since our inception, our interventions have always focused on poverty eradication and building resilient and self-reliant people and communities. We are committed to ensuring that our target people/communities are given the appropriate support to address the root causes of their challenges and also empowering others to champion change.

In Ghana, protecting human rights is central to ensuring that people live free to dream. If people live free, they can take advantage of opportunities to improve their well-being. Our mission is to bridge development gaps, which is to protect the rights, and create livelihood opportunities for the vulnerable, socially disadvantaged and excluded groups of women, youth and children through mindset change, capacity building and skills development.
